This website uses no cookies, no tracking or analytics services and no third-party content. Only your chosen colour scheme is stored locally in your browser (localStorage: schnorpfeil-theme); this information never leaves your browser and is exempt from consent under Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG.

4. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted via GitHub Pages; the provider is GitHub, Inc., San Francisco, USA. On access, the provider logs technical data, including IP address, time of access, file retrieved and browser type. The purpose is the technical delivery and security of the website, the legal basis Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have no access to these log files. GitHub states no fixed retention period; GitHub's privacy statement applies.

In the course of this, data – in particular your IP address – may be transferred to servers in the USA. GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the European Commission exists; in addition the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply, a copy of which you may request using the contact details in section 2.

5. Contacting Us

If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we process the information you provide in order to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR where there is a contractual context, otherwise Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. The data is deleted once the purpose ceases to apply and no statutory retention periods prevent this.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). An informal message to the contact details in section 2 or 3 is sufficient.

This website can be used without providing personal data; you are under no obligation to provide it.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority competent for us is Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.

7. Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

WHERE PROCESSING IS BASED ON ART. 6 (1) LIT. F GDPR, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME ON GROUNDS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION. WE WILL THEN NO LONGER PROCESS THE DATA CONCERNED UNLESS WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS, OR THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ESTABLISHMENT, EXERCISE OR DEFENCE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.
